Shree Urology Hospital is located in the heart of the city of Amravati. The hospital was established in 1982 by Dr Uddhav R. Deshmukh and Dr Jayashree U. Deshmukh as “Shree Surgical Nursing Home”. It has provided the region of Amravati, state-of-the-art care in General Surgery for three decades. Over the years it has gained a reputation of being a trusted health care facility providing quality service at an affordable cost.  It was renovated and inaugurated as “Shree Urology Hospital” in 2015. It has the state of the art facilities for performing all types of urological surgeries.

The realm of urology has undergone a revolutionary change in the last few decades owing to the advancements in technology. Minimally invasive treatments have now become the norm. Our motto is to provide the region of Amravati, world class treatment in the field of Urology and Andrology.

Shree Urology Hospital is being spearheaded by Dr Vikram U. Deshmukh, a renowned Urologist, Andrologist and Sexologist. Dr Vikram Deshmukh has completed his training in Genito- Urinary Surgery (Urology) from Ratna Memorial Hospital, Pune. He is also attached to the Government Super Speciality Hospital, Amravati as a Consultant Urologist. He is an Honorary Uro-Surgeon at Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Memorial Medical College, Amravati.

Shree Urology Hospital is the first hospital in Amravati to have the facility of Laser Lithotripsy. Laser Lithotripsy is the state of the art technique for fragmentation of urinary stones and is the most effective and the safest modality available for this purpose. We have installed a 30 W Auriga Holmium Laser Machine which is a FDA approved machine for Intracorporeal Laser Lithotripsy.  It can also be used to perform optical urethrotomy for stricture urethra, bladder neck incisions and resection of small bladder tumors.

We have also installed Storz Flexible Ureteroscope in March 2018, becoming the 1st Hospital in Amravati to have the facility of Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS) and Flexible Ureteroscopy.

We have also installed Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) machine, the only private hospital in Amravati to have this facility.

We also have GE X ray machine with Computerized Radiography (CR) for performing diagnostic urological procedures.

The above installations complete the armamentarium required for treatment of any kind of urinary stone irrespective of its location, composition, hardness and can bypass difficulties in patients with abnormal anatomy.
